On Kapiolani Boulevard, WalgreenвЂ™s (the main flagship store, that looks like a space ship) is definitely closed: for many Old School 1980вЂ™s вЂњKeeaumoku Street patrons,вЂќ it used to be the previous location of a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) fast-food restaurant, a Tower Records branch and a Tower Video branch. On the street / ground level, Shirokiya (Japan Village Walk) is Temporarily Closed. Tsukiji Fish Market and Restaurant, which was on the same floor as the Mai Tai Bar, is closed (I forgot what company took it over). Underneath вЂњRomanoвЂ™s Macaroni GrillвЂќ restaurant, Haus Supper Club (temporarily Closed) had replaced both The Brilliant Ox and the once popular Pearl (Ultra Lounge) Nightclub. (The Mai Tai Bar is now the Makai Bar Bubba GumpвЂ™s Shrimp had transformed into an Olive Garden.

For those who are curious, the Factory had moved to 614 Cooke Street. On Kapiolani Boulevard, Osaya Furniture had replaced T&L MuMu Factory: it was located behind a (city) bus stop this two story building was next to a Bank of Hawaii branch.

Ala Moana (Shopping) Center (in 2020): вЂњTwo PalmsвЂќ had replaced the tenure clothing store WatumullвЂ™s вЂњLoco BoutiqueвЂќ had taken over the space for вЂњSplash !вЂќ (womensвЂ™ bikini shop) which was across from SeeвЂ™s Candies (the old вЂњThe Slipper HouseвЂќ location, next to the Makai Food Court area).
